This Privacy Policy explains how Vogel Overseas Education & Training JSC (“Vogel”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website vogel.edu.vn, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

2. What personal data we collect

• Information you provide: when you submit a consultation or contact form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number and the message you write.
• Technical data: to show the website in your language we may detect your approximate country from your IP address. We do not store your IP address on our servers.
• Local storage in your browser: your chosen language and a cache of translated text are saved locally in your browser to improve your experience.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Handling your enquiry (name, email, phone, message) — so that we can contact you and provide the information or consultation you request. Legal basis: your consent and/or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
• Displaying the site in your language — based on our legitimate interest in providing a usable, localised website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Cookies and local storage

We use only strictly necessary browser storage required for the website to work — namely remembering your selected language and caching translations. We do not use advertising cookies, profiling, or third-party tracking. Because this storage is essential, no consent is required; you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

5. Third-party services

• Machine translation: to translate page text into your language we send that text (not your personal form data) to the MyMemory translation service.
• Country detection: we use api.country.is to determine your country for language selection.
• Content delivery: fonts, icons and scripts are loaded from common CDNs (e.g. Google Fonts, cdnjs). Document previews and downloads are hosted on Google Drive and our own storage.

These providers may process technical data (such as your IP address) as part of delivering their service, under their own privacy policies.

6. Data retention

We keep the information you submit through forms only for as long as necessary to handle your request and for any period required by law, after which it is deleted.

7. Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to object to processing. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
